Hiseeu Camera App for PC — Windows and Mac Options

A common question from new Hiseeu owners is whether they can watch their cameras on a computer instead of a phone. Here is the honest answer, plus every realistic option.

The short answer

• Windows: there is no official Windows client for Hiseeucloud.
• Mac: the iPad version of Hiseeucloud runs natively on Apple Silicon Macs (M1 or newer, macOS 11.0 or later). There is no app for Intel-based Macs.

Below are the practical options depending on your hardware.

Option 1: Install Hiseeucloud on an Apple Silicon Mac

If your Mac has an M1 or newer chip, you can install the app directly from the Mac App Store:

1. Open the App Store on your Mac.
2. Search for Hiseeucloud (it appears under iPhone and iPad apps), or use the direct link: Hiseeucloud on the App Store.
3. Click Get to install, then sign in with your existing Hiseeucloud account.

Your devices, recordings, and cloud plan carry over because they are tied to your account, not to a specific phone.

Option 2: Connect your NVR to a monitor

If you own a Hiseeu wireless kit or a wired network system with an NVR (network video recorder), you do not need a PC client at all. On most models:

1. Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using the HDMI or VGA port.
2. Plug in the included mouse to navigate the on-screen interface.
3. Use the NVR's own menus for live view and Playback of recorded footage.

This gives you a full-time big-screen view that is independent of your phone and computer.

Option 3: Run the Android app in an emulator on Windows

As a workaround, Windows users can run the Android version of Hiseeucloud inside an Android emulator such as BlueStacks:

1. Install an Android emulator on your Windows PC.
2. Sign in to the Google Play Store inside the emulator.
3. Install HiseeuCloud from Google Play and log in with your account.

Keep expectations realistic: this is not officially supported. Video performance depends on your PC, and push notifications may be unreliable, so keep the app on your phone for alerts.

Check whether your system actually uses EseeCloud

Some Hiseeu product families do not use Hiseeucloud at all. The EseeCloud app — used by the wireless, solar, and 4G kit families — has dedicated Windows and Mac desktop clients. Y-series PoE systems use Guard Viewer, and X-series AHD systems use iCSee. If your camera's manual names one of those apps, follow its desktop instructions instead.
