How to Connect a Hiseeu Camera to Your Phone

Pairing a Hiseeu camera with your phone takes about five minutes. The Hiseeucloud app walks you through it, and on most models the camera reads a QR code from your phone screen to receive the Wi-Fi details.

Before you start

1. Download the free Hiseeucloud app (listed as HiseeuCloud on Google Play) and create an account:
   • App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/hiseeucloud/id1542732629 (iOS 12 or later)
   • Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hisu.hsecloud (Android 6.0 or later)
2. Connect your phone to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network you want the camera to use. Most models cannot join 5 GHz-only networks.
3. Power on the camera and wait about one minute. On most models a voice prompt or blinking light tells you it is ready to pair. If you hear nothing, hold the reset button for several seconds to restore pairing mode.

Pair the camera with the QR code

1. Open the Hiseeucloud app and tap Add Device.
2. Choose your device type. The app supports Wi-Fi wireless cameras, 4G cameras, wired network cameras, wireless kits, battery cameras, and dashcams. For a standalone Wi-Fi camera, pick the Wi-Fi wireless option.
3. Confirm the camera is in pairing mode when the app asks, then continue.
4. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi name and password. Type the password carefully — a single wrong character is the most common reason pairing fails.
5. The app generates a QR code on your phone screen. Hold the screen about 6–12 inches (15–30 cm) in front of the camera lens.
6. On most models the camera beeps or announces that the QR code was scanned. Move the phone slowly closer or farther if nothing happens after 30 seconds.
7. Wait while the camera joins your network. When it appears in the app, give it a name and tap to open the live view.

If pairing fails

• Re-check the Wi-Fi password and make sure you selected the 2.4 GHz network, not 5 GHz.
• Turn up your phone's screen brightness so the camera can read the QR code, and wipe the lens clean.
• Reset the camera and start the Add Device flow again from the beginning.
• Move the camera closer to the router during setup; you can mount it in its final spot afterward.

After setup

Open Settings on the device page to adjust options such as Night vision mode, or check Playback and Device Recordings to confirm the camera is recording as expected.
