How to Watch Live View in the Hiseeucloud App

The Hiseeucloud app shows real-time video from any camera linked to your account, including Wi-Fi wireless cameras, 4G cameras, wired network cameras, wireless kits, battery cameras, and dashcams. Follow the steps below to open a live stream and tune it for your connection.

Open a single camera

1. Open the Hiseeucloud app and sign in.
2. On the home page, find the camera you want to watch. If you have not connected a camera yet, use Add Device first.
3. Tap the camera's preview card. The live stream opens within a few seconds.
4. From the live view you can take snapshots, record short clips to your phone, and use two-way talk on most models that have a microphone and speaker.

If your camera supports pan and tilt, drag on the video to move the lens. You can adjust how fast it turns under Settings → PTZ speed on supported models.

View multiple cameras in a grid

If you own a wireless kit, an NVR, or several standalone cameras, you can watch them at the same time:

1. From the home page, open the multi-camera view. On most models this shows a 4-channel grid, and kits with more channels can page through additional grids.
2. Tap any channel in the grid to expand it to full screen.
3. Tap again or use the back gesture to return to the grid.

Keep in mind that streaming several channels at once needs more bandwidth, so the grid usually plays at a lower quality than a single full-screen channel.

Switch stream quality

Most cameras offer at least two stream qualities in live view:

• HD (main stream) — full resolution, best for checking details like faces or plates.
• SD (sub stream) — lower resolution, loads faster and uses less data.

Tap the quality label on the live view screen to switch. If video stutters or keeps buffering, switch to SD first; this fixes most lag caused by slow upload speed at the camera's location.

Manage mobile data use

Live video is data-heavy. A continuous HD stream can use well over 1 GB per hour, and 4G cameras also consume the data plan in the camera's own SIM card.

To keep usage under control:

1. Use SD quality when you only need a quick check.
2. Close the live view when you are done instead of leaving it running in the background.
3. Prefer Wi-Fi on your phone for long viewing sessions.
4. For 4G cameras, rely on motion alerts and short clips rather than watching the live stream for long periods.
